Ch6-第一版

Chapter 6
THE NEW HEADQUATERS
The portkey pulled Harry right into the sky as wind started blowing forcefully on his face. While the darken sky above him was getting closer and closer, Harry felt lucky he brought his coat. He could fell the cold sky everywhere and could barely breathe in the force of the wind. He waved his wand for warm air but was all blown away promptly from him. He wanted to leave this place as quick as possible.
It would certainly be a fine scenery for him if he wasn’t pulled powerfully and quickly to the sky.
‘Harry, this is Fred calling. Please answer if you hear me.’ said a voice from his pocket. Harry looked in his pocket. It came from the bag Fred and George gave to him at Diagon Allay- the little tube, which saved his life in the Karkaroff’s place. A projection of Fred’s face in the middle of the transparent tube, grinning at him with a wide-opened mouth. Harry smiled. He finally knew what made Lupin came to save him at midnight. He must had let Fred or George the conversation between him and the death eater.
‘Fred, can you hear me? I don’t know how to use it.’
‘I can. If the tube experiences heat, it would turn on itself.’ said Fred. ‘Why don’t you get in?’
‘In?’ asked Harry confusedly.
‘You haven’t read the instructions, right?’ said Fred mischievously. ‘Read it now, it’s in your bag.’
‘Come on, I can hardly breath. It’s not joking time.’
‘Fine, press your name.’ laughed Fred. Harry did so. He felt his body was sucked into the little hole beside his name; he was pulled into a room, into a comfortable soft sofa-chair. Next to him was a great bookshelf with several books on it. Red carpet was spread uniformly in every part of the ground. The walls were all limpid; outside was covered with black clouds. Harry breathed deeply of the fresh air and smiled to Fred.
‘Thanks.’ said Harry. ‘It’s great in here.’ and turned his body to a comfortable posture.
‘It’s not time to sleep yet. Study the books or try to find out something about Voldemort. Remember, I’m in DA too.’
‘Fine.’ said Harry tiredly, stood up his body. ‘Where are we going to?’
‘To the new headquarters. Fred and I had worked on there for months and we finally finished it. We put all kinds of protections and spells on the place, even some of our products. It’s much better than the old one.’ said Fred proudly. ‘We’ll be there at breakfast. If you feel tired, drink the juice in the red bottle in the shelf. I won’t bother you then, work well.’
‘Bye.’ said Harry and opened the diary. It’s a strange feeling. He was looking at an important thing, but his body and mind was so relaxing. He forced himself to concentrate on the book, trying not to close his eyes.
The diary was written in messy words, a letter was clipped in it:
Victor:
These are the diary I wrote when I was a death eater. I knew I would be killed by him at last, so I left this to you. I hope you can understand my words and get rid of my old master; Read my diary and understand how dangerous what he is like, and hope you won’t look down on me after you read this.
P.S. For helping me to revenge. Here are some tips, which may help you:
First: Occlumancy is always important to you. He is one of the greatest Legilimensin the world. Don’t let him know what you’ll do next.
Second: There is something to do with the boy, Potter and you know who. But the pity is I don’t know what it is. Find it out. If will help you a lot on your journey to kill him. Remember this well.
Third: NEVER, Never use dark magic in front of you know who. No one, not even Albus Dumbledore, is better than him at dark magic. Also, defendable charms are important to you when fight against death eaters, but they have no use to be against with him. No charms can defend the Avada kedavra.
Last: He never trust other, and he never treats death eaters as friends. They are like servants to him.
Harry turned over a page. The messy writings on the diary made Harry dizzy little by little. Nevertheless, he carried on his reading. The next few pages were burnt by magic, Karkaroff didn’t seem to want Krum to know how miserable he was when he joined the death eaters. However, the pages below were already worse than every diary Harry had seen.
Dark Lord executed three Muggles. He told us we wizards and witches are better than them. They don’t have the authority to live with us in the same world. I can’t understand why, won’t we be lonely if there are only wizards and witches in the world? Perhaps I’m wrong. Of course I am, Dark Lord is always right.

I finally understand what Dark Lord means. Muggles knew we are much better than them, so they tried let us disappear from the world, just like what happened in the Middle Ages. It’s time to have the people without a drop of magic blood killed, we will make the world better like this with peoples better than them. Thank you, Dark Lord! For helping me to understand the truth!
Harry viewed the next few pages quickly, then something caught his eye, it was something Harry used to wonder about- what’s the party of death eaters for?
I sometimes wonder what we death eaters are for. I wonder if it if for fun or have some other designs. Today, Dark Lord gave us a speech about it. I finally understand why.
We, the ones who can control the dark magic, has something the others doesn’t have. We can kill easily, do everything we want by using dark magic. That’s the reason we are special. We can use our special powers to control everything, everyone we want to. Dark Lord told us he would take over the Ministry of Magic someday, at that time; we death eaters can have a great right on doing the things we want to do.
But some peoples, like Muggles and Mudbloods, don’t have the right to live with us. We must kill them all otherwise we’ll be tainted by them. I agree with Dark Lord. Someday when he take over the Ministry, I’ll teach the other wizards and witches a lesson, to tell them what is right!
Harry sighed, why does anyone believe in this kind of strange ideas? Is Karkaroff a man? Where is their sympathy? Muggles are life too. They just live in different ways with us, why are wizards and witches always better?
Rodolphus Restrong and Bellatrix Black joined us. I wondered why they joined us. Though they treated Dark Lord well, I still don’t think working under Dark Lord can satisfy their ambition. They are too full of themselves. I think the only thing made them joined us is they love dark arts too. they often study it together in secret places. I’d love to join their studying, but I won’t. I hate them, they are not true to Dark Lord.
I told what I think to Regulus, but he laughed at me and told me I must be crazy. He was right, Dark Lord knows everything, he will know it if they wanted to betray him. Oh! Dark Lord! You’re the Best!
Harry closed the diary; it will not really help him if he continued reading. It would be much better for him to study Occlumency or nonverbal spells. He did not want to wake Hermione up. He merely stood there and practice nonverbal floating charm.

The sky was getting brighter and brighter. Harry had drunk the red bottle of potion. It is an amazing feeling, the tiring and fatigue of the day was gone at once when he drank it. He decided to ask for more of them when he arrives the new headquarters. Because of the potion, Harry finished practicing all kind of simple nonverbal charms, the methods and tips of learning them were all well described in it. Harry never knew he could learn charms so quickly. The writer must have been a great teacher. Every charm seemed easy to learn from his exposition.
The speed of the portkey had slowed down. The view could be seen clearly from the transparent wall. They were flying to a mount, which rose straight up from the level ground. Rivers surrounded the mount like a fosse, and the top of the mount was covered with clouds. At the middle of it, there was an overhanging cliff. They landed right on it.
‘Still need a walk.’ said Fred when he saw Harry’s lightning flew to them. Harry walked out of the lightning. Lupin, Hermione and Ron were waiting there with Fred. He set off to Fred’s side.
‘Why?’
‘We won’t want anyone to know where we are, even they got our portkey.’ said Fred seriously. ‘Though they might be killed if they don’t know how to get inside.’ he whispered and laughed with Harry loudly. They walked pass three huge rocks and got into a great cave. It made Harry wondered if he could remember how to get in or not. They climbed up in the hot and wet cave and a huge rock stood in front of them. Fred knocked the rock three times and stepped backward.
‘Password?’ asked twenty voices at the same time.
‘Extra old Rhine wine.’ said Fred. The door opened slowly. Mr.Weasley smiled happily to greet them. Harry looked inside; no one was there except Tonks and Lupin. Fred looked at him and smiled.
‘Recorder, Muggle’s stuff, simple but useful.’ explained Fred. ‘Dad’s suggestion.’ he added after the went out of the room.
‘Harry, Ron, Hermione, when have you come?’ asked a happy voice behind them. Harry turned back and saw Luna smiling at him. ‘Everyone is waiting for you at the dining room, follow me.’
They arrived into a huge dining hall. Most people in the Order of Phoenix were there. Two long tables of savoury foods made them joined the others quickly. After making sure everyone were talking without distraction. He waved to Hermione to call her. It’s about time to make a plan for their next action.
‘Hermione, I think I know where is one of the Horcrux.’ said Harry quietly; looking around and make sure no one was looking at them.
‘What? Are you sure?’ asked Hermione surprisingly. ‘How did you find it out?’
‘Remember what I told you about the memory from the house elf, Hokey?’ asked Harry. Hermione nodded to him. He had a deep breathe and continued. ‘The old lady, Hepzibah, must be the heir of Helga Hufflepuff, or to have something to do with her. So, perhaps Voldemort made a Horcrux after he killed her. Just like what he did to Morfin. Therefore, if we went to the house, we may-’
‘Find the Horcrux. Yes, I think you are right.’ said Hermione. ‘I’ll try to find out where the house is. It won’t be hard. I will only have to check the murdering cases in the past fifty years. I’ll go and ask for the books.’ She ran to Lupin but Harry pulled her back. ‘Not now, Hermione.’ Hermione turned and looked at him.
‘After they have gone.’ explained Harry. ‘And I need your help. I need to learn something. See if you can meet me here at midnight.’
‘Fine, learn what?’ asked Hermione. Harry gave her the Occlumency verses Legilimency. She looked at it and nodded. ‘I’ll finish reading it before dinner.’
‘Lets join them, try not to let anyone know.’ said Harry. They walked to thee crowd and started chatting with the others. Nobody noticed two people had left them for a while. They were stilling talking to each other happily, thrown away all their apprehension over the future.
‘Harry, does mom know about you and Ginny?’ asked George interestedly. Harry blushed and said nothing, looking at Fred for help.
‘Harry, I won’t help you.’ laughed Fred. ‘But mom really knows it. Ron and I told her about it. You know, she is quite happy about it.’
‘And dad?’ asked George again, laughing with Fred.
‘I knew it.’ interrupted Mr.Weasley. ‘Well, Harry. I must say I am quite surprised to this, surprised but happy. It’s Molly who told me this and we are all happy for this. We owe you too much, Harry, I think we-’
‘I’m not a merchandise.’ said Ginny, smiling to him with a red face.
‘Sorry, Ginny. I didn’t mean that.’ said Mr.weasley quickly. ‘I mean we are happy about it, just this.’
‘Er…thanks, Mr.Weasley.’ said Harry, trying to find a better word.
‘Always.’ said Mr.Weasley.
‘And what about Ron and Hermione?’ asked Ginny revengefully.
‘Ron and who?’ asked Fred. ‘I suppose I heard something wrong.’
‘Me too.’ said Mr.Weasley. ‘Ron and who?’
‘Hermione.’ said Ginny slowly and clearly.
‘I can’t believe it.’ said Fred and George together.
‘Impossible.’ said Fred.
‘Incredible.’ George added.
‘It is.’ smiled Harry.
‘Lucky boy.’ said Mr.Weasley. ‘Met such a smart girl.’
‘I don’t doubt that.’ said George. ‘But he will also be tired. Poor Ron.’

Harry spent rest of the week in the order. He felt like he doesn’t want to leave here. He was happy and feels wonderful when he was here, especially the time he was with Ginny. Leaving was really a hard choice for him to make. He went to Lupin’s office. Lupin was meditating the new plan to stop the new movement of death eaters. When Harry saw his unswerving and concentration eyes, he sighed, he knew he must.
‘Prof-, I mean Lupin. I think I must leave today.’ said Harry. ‘Hermione found out the exaltedly place we should go.’
‘Have any progress on Occlumency? Or perhaps, nonverbal spells?’ asked Lupin. ‘Or read the “The advanced and the most occult charms”? That’s really a hard book, even some Aurors can’t use some of the spells.’
‘All.’ smiled Harry.
‘Than you shall go.’ said Lupin. ‘Remember, DA will always be ready.’
‘I will call them.’ said Harry. ‘Help me to say goodbye to everyone. I don’t want to wake them up.’
‘I will.’ said Lupin.
‘Bye.’ said Harry and walked out of the room, but Lupin called him back. ‘Wait, Harry. How long will you be out?’
‘One or two days, if successfully.’ said Harry. ‘Anything else?’
‘Come back in three days, if you can.’ said Lupin. ‘I’ll be happy if you’re here. Bye.’
‘Bye.’
‘Remember the DA, Harry!’

Hermione took out her hand-written map and showed it to Harry and Ron, and Hermione helped them to Apparite to the place. It was a glorious view. A long path of jasmine led them to the front door with red carpets; a great green pond with fishes and water snakes are at the side of the garden. Two potted roses stood at the door, but the house looked desolate. The grand door was hung up lopsidedly. Nobody seemed to live here after the terrible thing happened here.
‘Hermione, are you sure here is the place we are looking for?’ asked Ron uncertainly. ‘We don’t have to get in this kind of place, right?’
‘Here must be the place.’ said Hermione sharply. ‘I’ve checked for-’
‘Than you go first.’ said Ron.
‘I-’ said Hermione, but stopped when she saw Harry walked in.
‘Come on.’ frowned Harry. ‘Are you two in Gryffindor?’
Ron looked at Hermione, and walked in together with her. The corridor was covered with a coat of dust. Old paintings and sculpture looked scary in the slight light. Harry pulled out the wand and stepped forward carefully.
‘Is it necessary to grab others hand this tight?’ bantered Harry. Ron swung his hand from Hermione’s immediately. Hermione blushed and pretended to be checking the room. Harry laughed and helped her.
They looked in everyone room they could find, but strangely, nothing to do with magic was found. Not even a protection of the house.
‘Nothing is inside.’ said Hermione quietly.
‘Check once more.’ said Harry. ‘There is hope, still.’
‘I hope there is.’ muttered Ron. ‘Will there be a back room?’
‘You can check for that.’ said Harry, waving his wand every corner his could reach. He really hoped he could check this place as precise as Dumbledore could. He knew the Horcrux must be hidden somewhere here. Wherever it was, he would have to find it out.
‘I can’t find a thing.’ said Ron.
‘So do I.’ said Harry unwillingly. ‘Maybe we should go.'
